This is for folks who work out and need a high protein diet. Not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding since protein powders are not regulated by the FDA.

If you hate the taste of protein powder, but you really need to increase your protein intake, this recipe is perfect for you! This recipe is actually created by by Adam Navas. It helps keep you keep full and satiated throughout the day. It's useful for me because I love to snack throughout the day.

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz of unsweetened vanilla almond milk or low sugar chocolate milk

  • 4 oz of cold water

  • 1 scoop of protein powder (we use dotfit protein powders only, so about 41 grams)

  • 13 grams of ground flaxseed

  • 15 grams of oatmeal

  • 18 grams of natural low sodium peanut butter

  • 1 scoop of ice (4 tablespoons of ice)

Instructions:

  1. Using blender, place liquid ingredients in first, then toss dry ingredients.

  2. Add ice, blend, and enjoy! Happy weight loss!

You don't have to heed to my advice, but I've tried almost every protein powder out there and the only one that tastes great and doesn't make me cranky is the ones that purchase from UFC gym or dotfit. Here's the link if you're interested in purchasing your own.
