15 grams of black sugar syrup
15 grams of sugar free syrup or sugar free sweetener
4 oz of unsweetened almond milk or oat milk or rice "milk", basically concentrated/extracted nut/oat/rice water.
4 oz of boiled water
Two black tea bags or 4 tbsp of black tea leaves (Assam tea) or decaffeinated tea or tea if very sensitive to caffeine, make a latte.
Ice
Serving size: 1
Instructions:
Using either a pan or a percolator. Boil water to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
Steep tea for 5 minutes.
Add black sugar and sugar free syrup or sugar free sweetener into a glass cup.
Pour tea, then add almond milk. Stir mixture until uniform in color. Usually the black sugar is stuck the bottom of glass so you'll have to stir rigorously.
Add ice. Serve with low calorie treats or fruits. Or enjoy it alone.
Note: If you're sensitive to caffeine, try decaffeinated black tea or skip the tea and use only milk to make a black Tiger latte.
