Hong Kong inspired Yuanyang tea. Usually has coffee with no cinnamon and cardamom pods. As a reminder, the British colonized Hong Kong not Taiwan.

Ingredients:

  • 5 scoops of dark roast coffee

  • 1 sticks of cinnamon

  • 3 cardamom pods

  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin coconut oil

  • 12 cups of hot water

  • Coconut milk cream

  • Assam or Ceylon tea

Tools:

  • Coffee makers

  • Skillet

Instructions:

  1. Roast coffee beans with cinnamon sticks and cardamom pods under medium low heat. Add cinnamon sticks and cardamom pods to coffee. Steep for 5 minutes.

  2. Brew Assam or Ceylon tea.

  3. Use 6 oz of freshly brewed black tea and 6 oz of freshly brewed coffee.

  4. Add 6-8 tablespoons of coconut milk (however many tbsps you need)

  5. Add sugar free vanilla syrup or 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract

  6. Stir until mixture lightens.

  7. Pour mixture onto ice and enjoy.
