Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of 11-12% protein content All purpose flour
1/2 cup of coconut brown sugar (low glycemic index, diabetic friendly)
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/8 tsp of salt
1 tsp of almond extract
2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk
1 cup of dark cherries
1/2 cup of sliced/chopped almonds
1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together. Make sure there are no clumps.
Add the wet ingredients except dark cherries, almonds, and chocolate into the mixing bowl. Mix well.
Add the dark cherries, almonds, and dark chocolate into the mixing bowl and gently fold into mixture.
Bake for 20 minutes or until no dough sticks to toothpick.
